Our History

St Marys International Academy, Nairobi was launched in 2003, initially known as Notre Dame School. Since then the school has excelled academically, seeing to it that young people achieve their aspirations of becoming what they would like to be. It has thus sent students to universities worldwide. The school has extended its proficiency beyond just academics; it has excelled in various sports and games in addition to cultural activities that enhance a student’s attainment of happiness in addition to helping them learn useful skills.

Along the way, facilities have grown in quality and number. In quest for even greater excellence in provision of quality education, the school moved to an environment that would enhance the achievement of the vision of producing global citizens ready to take on the world and was renamed. The school campus is now located in Spring Valley area of Nairobi, just two kilometres from Sarit Centre.

The new campus is ideal for learning because of its surrounding greenery, quiet atmosphere and distance from the hustle and bustle of highly populated areas.
